A $2.7 million amphitheater is under construction next to the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart, and is expected to be completed by spring. The outdoor amphitheater is expected to accommodate up to 1,700 people, over three times the capacity of the Lyric Theatre, according to the city. “This is big for us,” Mayor Christopher Collins told WPTV.
