Kendall Hyde joined WPTV in December 2023.
Kendall's love for journalism started in high school when he was a photographer during his senior year as a cameraman for his school's TV station.
His passion and interest from behind the lens inspired him to become a reporter in front of the camera.
Kendall graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2019 and gained first-hand experience interning at CBS 2 Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago.
After graduating, Kendall landed his first job in Quincy, Illinois, for two years and then moved on to Cincinnati for the next two years. In Cincinnati, Kendall covered several breaking news stories, including the eastern Kentucky tornadoes, where he was honored for his work.
In his spare time, Kendall loves exploring Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, finding new food spots and jogging with his dog, Dash.
