FORT PIERCE, Fla. — An elderly couple was found dead inside a Fort Pierce condo on Tuesday, and their adult son is a person of interest, police said.
The suspicious deaths occurred at the Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island condominium complex.

Police said they were called to the condo at about 12:30 p.m. after they received a welfare check call from the couple's daughter.
When officers arrived at the condo, they found Philip Repaci, 85, and Joan Repaci, 80, in the living room area of their residence with what was believed to be multiple gunshot wounds.
Their investigation revealed that the couple's adult son, Philip Repaci, 55, was seen leaving the scene before police arrived. A BOLO (be on the lookout) was then issued for the adult son's vehicle.
"We believe that he may have spent time here and was staying with them. May live somewhere else as well," said Fort Pierce Police Chief David Smith.
Deputies with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office later located Philip Repaci and took him into custody.
"This is obviously a very tragic incident for both the family and the officers who had to respond to such a scene," Smith said. "We want to encourage anyone who's going through any type of mental health or domestic challenge to reach out for help, or if anyone knows anyone going through that, to try to get them help."
Cody Leftault, a boat captain who lives on the marina, learned about the investigation after WPTV reporter Zitlali Solache approached him.
"It's wild to hear about. I don't really hear about any crime around here," said Leftault. "Fort Pierce has crime, but not around these parts really."
Police said this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
