RICHMOND, Va. — The Metro Richmond Zoo on Thursday announced the rare birth of seven cheetah cubs from one mother!
The cubs' mother, Vaila, gave birth to the septuplets in November.
The zoo said on their Facebook page that a cheetah having seven cubs at once only happens 1 percent of the time.
All seven cubs are in great health and growing fast.
The zoo says the cheetah is Africa’s most endangered cat, with the population in the wild declining to only 7,000.
