WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A tropical wave is forecast to emerge off the west coast of Africa on Sunday. It will track westward in the eastern tropical Atlantic and stay south of the Cabo Verde Islands. It is forecast to have gradual development next week.
The rest of the tropics remains quiet with no named storms as we approach peak hurricane season on Sept. 10.
