FELLSMERE, Fla. — Crews battled a wildfire at the Sebastian Buffer Preserve Friday afternoon, according to the Fellsmere Police Department.
Police said the fire was located west of I-95 and east of the power lines that run north and south through the buffer, approximately one mile east of the 13400 block of 111st Street.
State, county and park fire crews were at the scene for hours fighting the 60-acre fire they called "Buffer West Fire."
"The Buffer West Fire in Indian River County has been 100% contained at 60 acres, " said the Florida Forest Service shortly before 7 p.m.

No homes or structures were damaged, officials said.
