A woman charged in connection with a fatal crash that killed a Delray Beach officer in April has been transferred from a Miami jail to Monroe County.
Lacy Morris was released at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to correction officials in Miami-Dade County.
Morris is accused of DUI manslaughter in the April 8 Key West wreck that killed Delray Beach police officer Christine Braswell.
Morris was arrested May 2 in Broward County.
Key West officials say Morris will make a first appearance in court Thursday.
