(NBC) - Two suspects in Central Florida entered the wrong backyard Thursday night, getting taken down by a resident’s dog.

The Volusia County sheriff's helicopter was following the two men, who were wanted for driving a car with stolen tags.
As the suspects were fleeing on foot through a backyard, video shows a dog charging at them -- defending his territory against the intruders.
The dog was even able to jump up and knock one of the men to the ground. The suspects were eventually caught and taken into custody by deputies.
In addition to driving a car with a stolen tag, the suspects were also accused of carrying several bags of heroin, cocaine and about $2,000 in cash.
