Florida International University said Thursday morning that three students missing in Everglades National Park have been found safe.
The Coast Guard said the students were located by the park service and in good condition.

The students were supposed to return from their trip to the Everglades Wednesday around 8 p.m. or 9 p.m., prompting the search.
Two of the researchers are PhD candidates in Arts, Sciences & Education. The third student is visiting from China.
FIU said they were conducting research on water chemistry as part of a long-term Everglades research project.
