No one was hurt and a puppy is a safe after a two-vehicle crash snarled traffic Thursday morning on Interstate 95 northbound in St. Lucie County.

The wreck occurred around 5:30 a.m. just north of the Okeechobee Road interchange in Fort Pierce.
The St. Lucie Fire District said the vehicles sustained heavy damage, but no one had to be transported to the hospital.
When the crash occurred, a puppy escaped one of the crashed vehicles.
However, a passerby recovered the dog.
