UPDATE: Port St. Lucie Police say Tyree Desire was discovered at a friend's house in Port St. Lucie and he is in good health.
EARLIER:
Port St. Lucie police said a 12-year-old boy is missing after running away from home early Friday morning.
Around 12:30 a.m., police went to the 2200 block of SE Trillo St. after learning from family members that the child, Tyree Desire, had an argument with his mother and ran away.
Port St. Lucie police solicited the help of Martin Correctional Institute, who sent their bloodhound to the area.
The K-9 tracked to Green River Parkway but was unsuccessful in locating Tyree.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deployed their helicopter but was also unsuccessful in locating Tyree.
Tyree is 5 feet 1 inch tall weighing about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing yellow gym short and nothing else.
