PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Port St. Lucie police said a man riding a bike was shot three times with a BB gun Sunday.

The incident occurred at SE Thornhill Drive and SE Whitmore Drive around 1:18 pm.

Police said the man was shot at four times, and was struck three times by a passenger who fired while riding inside a car. Investigators said the suspect shot from the car passenger window, striking the victim in two areas of his body.

Both the driver and passenger are described as about 15 to 17 years old. Police said the passenger was wearing a black shirt at the time of the incident. The suspects fled in possibly a 2017 black Toyota Corolla with lightly-tinted windows.
