Michael Mayer posted pictures of the blaze on Twitter, saying the "fireworks for the St. Lucie Mets did not go well tonight at First Data Field. They set a fire outside the stadium."

The St. Lucie County Fire District said crews responded to the brush fire in the 500 block of Peacock Blvd. around 9 p.m. No one was hurt and no buildings were threatened. The fire was under control by 9:23 p.m.
