FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning in Fort Pierce.
Deputies responded to the 2000 block of N. 21st Street at around 11 a.m. and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims have been hospitalized, and their condition is unknown.
There is no threat to the public and the incident appears to be isolated, according to deputies.
