Firefighters extinguished a house fire early Saturday morning in Fort Pierce.
No one was home at the time the blaze began in the 3400 block of Southern Pines Drive.
The fire was reported at 6:51 a.m. and was extinguished by 7:16 a.m.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and does not appear to be suspicious.
Two people and a pet were displaced due to the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
