The man who died in a mobile home fire north of Fort Pierce has been identified as 73-year-old Michael Thomas Murphy, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.
The St. Lucie County Fire District said they received a call at about 3:22 a.m. Tuesday at 32 Flores Del Norte.
Citing initial results from an autopsy, the sheriff's office said Murphy suffered a heart-related incident prior to the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The state fire marshal was assisting in the investigation.
