Ocean Ridge police said they confiscated nine bales that washed ashore Tuesday morning.
Police said numerous packages were found along a quarter mile area on the beach just after 7 a.m.
Chopper 5 flew over the scene at 7:45 a.m. and spotted an official hauling the bales in an ATV from the beach.
Police are not sure what type of drugs they have, but the Drug Enforcement Agency has been contacted.
