DEERFIEL BEACH, FLa. — A gym in Deerfield Beach is offering everyone a chance to workout. The United Spectrum Center near Hillsborough Boulevard and Powerline Road will open at the end of the month.
Owner Matt Rosenberg said he grew up helping his uncle who had Down syndrome and turned that experience into helping others with special needs.
The gym is open to anyone and everyone.
“She comes her and she fits in with everybody,” said mother Lauren Schnider.
Her daughters at Erb’s Palsy and she said the gym is the perfect fit for her.
“She comes her and she fits in with everybody,” she said.
Rosenberg said he wants to create an open environment for anyone to workout. He said they have sponsors to help people cover their membership costs.
