DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- It was a cold start to Monday morning, and people in Delray Beach were dressed in warm clothes as they walked down Atlantic Avenue.

“It is still a little nippy, a little nippy for me,” said Edmund Boncyzyk.

Bonczyk and his wife go walking every morning and were dressed in long sleeves and pants Monday morning. But others who are visiting didn’t seem bothered by the 60-degree weather.

“Not at all, I am actually sweating right now,” said Billy Karsaliakos who is visiting from Connecticut.

Others spent their vacation at the beach.

“I couldn’t ask for a better day,” said Morgan Durinick. She and her family were soaking up the sun and enjoying one more day of vacation. Durinick goes back to the University of New Haven Monday night. “I’m like, 'How is this cold?' Back home it is negative 20,” she said.

The family was going to spend as much time in the sunshine, even if it’s too cold for the locals to enjoy. “Perfect temperature, what more could you ask for, the sand beach that is it,” said Durinick.
