DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Two South Florida men reunited Tuesday with the woman they saved on New Year’s Day.

WPTV first reported back in January that Karlton Brown and Paul Fogarty-Brown were at Morton’s Steakhouse in Boca Raton on Jan. 1 when Eileen Slobotkin started choking on a piece of food.

The men rushed in to give her CPR and keep her breathing until paramedics arrived.

On Tuesday, the three got together in Delray Beach to talk about the terrifying experience.

"I mean, they brought me back to life, it's amazing," said Slobotkin. "We are such good friends and we will be good friends forever."

"We have a special bond now," said Paul Fogarty-Brown.

Brown and Fogarty-Brown, who are both trained in CPR and basic life support, stress the importance of learning CPR.

"Just think of it as if that was your mother, your grandmother, your friend," said Fogarty-Brown. "You would want someone to jump in and save your life."

"It prepares you, therefore you are prepared and not scared," said Karlton Brown.

The three said they will continue to spread their message to get CPR certified.

"I am so thankful to God for them," said Slobotkin.
