DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A Delray Beach woman will turn 100-years-old this weekend. Tillie Oppenheim-Miller is a spunky great-grandmother who is excited to hit the milestone.

“This is a big one, I don't know how I got here,” she said.

Oppenheim-Miller says she is grateful for all the family she has.

“I am so thrilled and feel so lucky I was alive to see my family.”

Age hasn’t slowed her down, she can still cha-cha with her son Garry. She said she still counts calories at her age, “Chocolate is bad, it’s poison, I can't eat chocolate even now,” she said. Although she will still indulge in ice cream, one of her favorite foods.

She says her mother taught her to always take the good with the bad and to be respectful.

“Respect is important, listen, listen to everybody, and then form your own opinion, use your own head.”
