DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A bicyclist was killed Friday afternoon in Delray Beach when a car struck him.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Neil J. Goldman, 75, was riding a bicycle southbound on the shoulder of Lyons Road at 12:17 p.m.

For unknown reasons, the driver of a 2019 Lexus RX350 failed to maintain their lane and struck Goldman, knocking him off his bicycle.

Goldman was pronounced deceased 10 minutes later.
