BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — You might have slept in this morning because of Thanksgiving, but some baby sea turtles were up at sunrise!
Video uploaded to the Reel Cool Adventures YouTube page shows a group of hatchlings making their way to the ocean in Boynton Beach.
According to the post, a father and his daughter, Lauren, were taking a walk on the beach Thursday morning and witnessed the magical moment.
They said, "it was amazing to watch them overcome the obstacles of the sand, birds and waves. What a great way to start Thanksgiving Day of 2019!"
The Reel Cool Adventures YouTube page describes itself as, "an 11-yr old fishergirl and her wacky dad show you wild ways to have fun in the outdoors using little-known "tricks of the trade" and our own inventions."
