A snorkeler died Sunday evening after he was washed into a jetty at the Boynton Beach Inlet.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said at 5:30 p.m. a passing boat found the victim, loaded him onto his vessel and brought him to shore.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported the victim, later identified as Paul Swingle, 67, of Boynton Beach, to JFK Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
