Reduce your library fines in Boynton Beach by donating food, supplies

The Boynton Beach city library is helping patrons reduce their library fines and also help the needy. 

For each item donated by a patron, the Boynton Beach City Library will credit $1 toward existing overdue fines from their library account. 

The “Food for Fines” is in effect until Nov. 29 and applies only to overdue fines but does not extend to other fees such as lost materials or replacement cards. 

Items in need include: 

  • baby food and formula
  • diapers
  • water
  • juice and juice boxes
  • cereal
  • soup
  • canned meats
  • canned pasta meals
  • pasta

Donations may be brought to the Boynton Beach City Library located at 115 N. Federal Hwy. before Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.

All donations benefit the Boynton Beach Community Caring Center’s Food Pantry located at 145 NE 4th Ave.
