BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — The Boynton Beach Police Department had officers going door to door in the evacuations zones on Sunday.
Police were making sure everyone was aware of the mandatory evacuations in Palm Beach County for zones A and B.
Sergeant Hap Crowell said these are the areas where the construction of the homes is older or not as sturdy, and there are also areas that tend to flood easily.
“Just be careful, be very careful, a lot of people let their guard down and I am not ready to do that yet,” said Crowell.
