Police say a Boynton Beach man sexually abused a child in his care for seven years.
Officers arrested Aruan Aleman-Hernandez, 38, on Friday after they say the girl told a relative.
Police said the abuse started when the girl was 6- or 7-years-old. A police report said the man often held a knife to her throat and put something in her drink to make her sleep.
Aleman-Hernandez is being held without bond.
