BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Bethesda Hospital East has welcomed its first baby of 2019!
The hospital said Alani Rubi Mikell was born at 5:27 a.m. on New Year's Day.
She weighs 5 pounds, 14 ounces.
The hospital said baby Alani and her mother, Samantha Francois, are doing very well.
Earlier in the morning, West Boca Medical Center and St. Mary's Medical Center delivered their first babies of the year in Palm Beach County.
Shortly after that, Wellington Regional Medical Center delivered its first baby of 2019.
