BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — One-hundred volunteers from the environmental organization 4ocean spent the day at Crosspointe Elementary School in Boynton Beach for Earth Day.
Students spent the day painting a mural, planting a vegetable garden and created a butterfly garden.
4ocean said this is the first time they partnered with a school for a project like this, and they wanted to spread their company's message to remove trash from oceans and coastlines while inspiring individuals to work together for a cleaner ocean, one pound at a time.
