BOCA RATON, Fla. — Boca Raton police are searching for a man who broke into a home and stole packages from several other residences right before Christmas.
Security cameras in the Hidden Valley neighborhood, located off W. Hidden Valley Boulevard, caught the man on camera going to several different homes.
A Ring doorbell camera provided to WPTV showed the man walking up to a front porch, looking at the camera, then opening packages he had in his hand. The homeowner said the thief left behind four packages, and two of them were empty.

"People are becoming very bold because that was in broad daylight he was doing that," said neighbor Steven Delgado.
Delgado and his father, Rene Delgado, said this is unusual crime their quiet neighborhood. Rene said they invested in a Ring security camera and added an extra monitoring system around the house.
"Right now, that is the norm because you can see people are quite willing to walk up to a home," said Rene Delgado.
