Boca Raton police have released surveillance video of a man they say may be responsible for multiple purse snatchings in the city.

Police said a third case happened on Friday evening when a suspect grabbed a woman's purse while she was walking at 100 NE Mizner Blvd.

In a post on Facebook, Boca police said they have video of the suspect that was recorded at the Oakland Park Flea Market. In the video, the suspect was wearing polka dot shorts and a white tank top.

The man is also believed to be the suspect in a purse snatching April 1 at a CVS on South Federal Highway and possibly one at 16 Handles on April 2.

In the latest incident and the one on April 1, the purses were located in Wilton Manors and Lauderhill.

The suspect is described in his 20s, 6 feet tall and possibly traveling in a blue Chevrolet sedan.

During the purse snatching on April 1 at the CVS, police said the victim was walking through the parking lot at 3:30 p.m. when she felt someone tug on her purse.

The second robbery happened on April 2 around the same time, but at University Commons, 1400 West Glades Rd. Police said that victim was sitting outside at a table with her husband at 16 Handles when a man grabbed her purse and took off.

If you have information call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS.

Police say make sure you hold on to your purse, pay attention and don’t use your phone while walking through parking lots.
