Boca Raton water customers may notice a change in the smell and taste of their tap water.
The city is temporarily changing its method for disinfecting water from May 15 until May 29.
City officials say the change in treatment will provide additional protection against bacteria.
The city says the temporary conditions will not cause adverse health effects.
