Authorities have released 911 calls which reported a shooting just after midnight on Saturday outside a Boca Raton restaurant.
A number of people dialed emergency operators when the gunshots began outside of Kanpai restaurant. Cellphone video showed the chaos in the parking lot on North Federal Highway.
Police say there was some sort of altercation between a customer and an employee inside the restaurant. The argument then spilled out into the rear parking lot where a restaurant manager asked the customer to leave.
One of the manager's friends intervened, and at some point gunshots were fired. That's when witnesses started calling 9-1-1
"I was at Kanpai's and my friends just ran over to me saying we just saw someone get hit by a car and heard four shots.... I'm (expletive) running. I heard six shots and ... yes, a bunch of people started running," said one caller.
It's unclear exactly who fired the shots and the shooting remains under investigation.
The customer and the restaurant manager's friend both sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
