The Florida Highway Patrol said all eastbound and westbound lanes of State Road 70 near NE 70th Avenue in Okeechobee County were closed Monday morning after a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.
FHP said the wreck occurred around 7 a.m.
The victim’s name and the cause of the crash have not been released.
