A driver escaped from a vehicle after it flipped into a canal Thursday morning at the northbound exit ramp to Florida’s Turnpike at PGA Boulevard.
The wreck was reported at 6:18 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the person was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center as a precaution.
The crash is not causing any delays on the Turnpike or exit ramp.
