JUPITER, Fla-- Dressed in their pink and red, two ladies showed up to Jupiter Medical Center ready to deliver. They went to five floors armed with 540 roses and a smile.
"Today we are spreading some love," Michele Lintel-Pero said. All for patients and staff needing a little extra cheer.
"A lot of times it's a pretty thankless job so to have people come in and be like you know we really appreciate you, we love you, it's phenomenal," Aja Wright said.
The idea started just a day ago. Michele and her sister Caroline were visiting their mother who is being treated at the hospital.
"I saw some patients peaking out with the doors open and I thought about today and maybe what they would need," Lintel-Pero said. "I thought just a little bit of love goes a long way."
"There's going to be an awful lot of dancing hearts on this unit for many, many days to come," Joanne Miller, chief nursing officer said.
