JUPITER, Fla. — In the moments before a private plane went down near Pahokee, a Palm Beach Gardens woman says she received a text from her husband on board.
“He told me he loved me and the girls and I’m so grateful for that he thought of me in that moment,” said wife Rachel Fiorello.
Her husband, Matt Fiorello, was among the four passengers and the pilot who died in the crash.
“Something happened and he knew something happened,” Rachel Fiorello said.
Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board say they have the wreckage in a secure location and are looking into a cause.
Rachel Fiorello says Matthew was a successful attorney who put his family first.
“He's an incredible father and incredible husband, brother, son, friend everything, singer, golfer."
