A 17-year-old is in custody after Jupiter police said he held a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint with a BB gun Monday night.
At 9:56 p.m., members of the Jupiter Police Department responded to the 200 block of Circle East for an armed robbery.
Police said the victim was delivering pizzas in the area which had recently been ordered.
When the driver arrived, he saw a person standing in front of a residence and met with him at his vehicle to provide the pizzas.
Police said the 17-year-old then displayed the firearm and demanded the victim’s property and an undisclosed amount of money.
The delivery drive complied and was allowed to drive away from the area.
Officer later located the suspect in the 700 block of North Road, where he was arrested without incident. The firearm was also located and found to be a BB gun.
Police said the pizza delivery driver was not hurt and his property was recovered. Officer said the 17-year-old has been charged with one count of robbery with a firearm.
