Police: DUI driver crashes into Stuart officer

A woman is accused of driving under the influence after crashing into a Stuart police officer on Sunday. 

According to a Facebook post by Stuart police, the wreck occurred at the intersection of East Ocean Boulevard and Palm Beach Road.

Officers said the driver, Susan Nadaskay, violated the officer's right of way at the intersection, causing the wreck.

Police said Nadaskay refused to submit a breath test and was taken into custody.

The officer involved in the wreck was not seriously injured.
