STUART, Fla. — A man was struck and killed by a train in Stuart Tuesday evening, according to Stuart police.
Railroad crossings are closed from the Roosevelt Bridge south to Monterey Road. Crossings from Monterey Road south are open, police said.
The crossings will remain closed for an extended period of time while investigators work the scene.
