Between Black Friday shopping and Cyber Monday deals people are anxious to get their holiday shopping done. However, some say they waited in line for hours only to walk away empty handed.

“More than an hour line over there and I couldn’t get anything because I have to work this afternoon,” said Stuart resident Rolando.

All day the Best Buy in Martin County was packed with people wanting to get their hands on the latest and greatest electronics. Even if that meant waiting in lines for hours.

“I came for a Nintendo switch but they sold out of it already,” said Erik Ayala.

And in this day in age when buying something is as easy as a click of a button,

“Online shopping is rising but patience isn’t,” said Daniel Hope.

It’s obvious there’s still a preference for getting it in an instant,

“When you have deals people want the deals so people are going to come get the deals,” said Hope.

Even if that means leaving empty-handed.

“They sold out already,” said Ayala.

For those who didn’t get what they were hoping for they said they plan to strategize in time for Cyber Monday.
