Martin County investigators said Thursday that saws used to dismember Tricia Todd’s body were bought by her suspected killer in late March, a month before she was killed.
Todd's ex-husband, Steven Williams, has confessed to killing her and dumping her remains at the Hungryland Preserve.
Detectives said Williams bought the battery-powered saws on Amazon.com.
Divers this week found the saws in a canal at the Hungryland Preserve near where some of Todd's remains were found in late May.
The sheriff believes the plea deal , where Williams was to reveal where he buried Todd, is void since they only found partial remains.
