HOBE SOUND, Fla. — A man's body was found Thursday morning along a beach near Hobe Sound, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.
Spokeswoman Christine Weiss said a jogger running on the beach made the discovery.
The body was discovered in the water just east of Peck Lake Park and transported to the medical examiner's office.
Weiss said the medical examiner will work to confirm the man's identity and cause of death.
