All lanes have reopened Friday morning on Florida's Turnpike after both directions were closed overnight in Martin County following a fiery crash involving a FedEx truck.
The wreck happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday near mile marker 123 (Hobe Sound area).
According to the sheriff's office, the FedEx truck was carrying a number of packages when it burst into flames, prompting the closure of the northbound and southbound lanes. One person was injured.

Because the contents of the packages inside the truck are unknown, fire rescue personnel closely monitored the blaze as it burned itself out.
All lanes were back open by 6 a.m.
The sheriff's office said the Florida Highway Patrol will be investigating the cause of wreck.
FedEx released the following statement regarding the wreck:
