An investigation is underway to determine what caused a fire to destroy two boats in Martin County early Sunday morning.
The fire occurred at 3:30 a.m. on a dock along Ocean Boulevard.
When deputies arrived, they said a houseboat, which was on a lift, was fully engulfed in flames. A catamaran on the dock was also on fire.
Marine units worked to put out the blaze. No one was injured, but the vessels were completely destroyed.
MCSO said the state fire marshal will investigate the cause.
