Vero Beach police say a man was found with a gunshot wound inside a parked car near a bank Tuesday morning.
At 6:25 a.m., police said they received a call about a dead man spotted in a car parked outside a Chase Bank, located at 2025 Indian River Blvd.
Vero Beach Police Officer Anna Carden said the body is a 73-year-old man with a Vero Beach address.
Based on their initial investigation, police say it appears the man died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police have not yet released his identity.
