PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said three people are now under arrest after a woman was shot overnight Wednesday near Greenacres.
Deputies responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Jog Rd. around 3 a.m. and found a woman had been robbed and shot.
Minutes later, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspect's car driving southbound on I-95 near Linton Blvd.
Deputies pulled the car over and detained the three people inside.
The sheriff's office determined that 19-year-old Pablo Ortega, 19-year-old Thomas Robertson, and 18-year-old Julianna Hickey were involved in the robbery and shooting. All three have been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is now in critical condition.
