WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The West Palm Beach Police Department said a woman was shot at an apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.
At 4:50 p.m., there was a heavy police presence at the Lake Shore apartments located in the 4600 block of N. Congress Ave.
Police said the woman was transported to a local hospital by paramedics with injuries that were not life threatening.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Police said the shooting appears to be related to domestic violence.
