A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday evening in West Palm Beach.
According to a police news release, the wreck occurred shortly after 6 p.m. along the 2900 block of 45th St.
Officers said the pedestrian, a man whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was transported to the VA Medical Center with injuries that were not life threatening.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed the driver was not at fault, but the case is still open.
