WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Rashel Jordan refuses to give up on finding the person responsible for murdering her 23-year-old son Mark Wright Jr. in November 2018. West Palm Beach police say Wright was shot and killed outside a nightclub off Old Okeechobee Road.

“Mark was a friend. He was loved. He was funny. He was my son,” said Jordan.

Jordan recently paid to have a billboard hung up of her son with information to help people who were there the night of the crime to come forward with any information to help investigators. The billboard is just a couple of blocks from the crime scene.

“I believe somebody knows something and with that club being there I want someone to come from that club and say I remember this and let me help this parent, this person, this family,” said Jordan.

Investigators say the night of the crime, a friend drove Wright to St. Mary’s Medical Center two hours after the shooting and unfortunately, Wright was pronounced dead.

“There is no hurt like this when you got to plan a funeral for your child and I wish no parent or no family would have to go through this,” said Jordan.

If you have any information that can lead to an arrest you are urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS. You can choose to remain anonymous.

Jordan is planning to hold a vigil on Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. in front of the billboard located at the corner of Parker Avenue and Old Okeechobee Road
